How it works?

ServiceNow SQL Hub is Virtual SQL database running on Atlassian Forge with support for industry-standard SQL to query data in real-time from ServiceNow.

Security and Permissions

ServiceNow administrators grant access to data via the Table API and by configuring OAuth access.

Jira and Confluence adminsitrators configure the credentials to access to ServiceNow.

Each granted table in ServiceNow is mapped to a empty virtual table in Jira and Confluence populated in real time respecting Jira/Confluence and ServiceNow permissions.

Jira and Confluence administrators can grant Atlassian users and groups (AKA editors) to write SQL ServiceNow SQL statements.

Reporting & Analytics

ServiceNow SQL hub app Editors configure Pivot Tables and charts to display data on Jira Dashboards and Confluence Pages.

Pivot Tables are populated in real-time from ServiceNow (no cached data locally anywhere)

Granted users in Jira and Confluence can view ServiceNow SQL Hub Pivot Tables and export them to Excel for further analytics.
